She Will Not Return....

In life, moments and events once passed,
Do not allow for revisions.
They are settled.
New seasons may bring new friends.
Yet the flowers which autumn dislodged
Wont share the blossom of spring.

A love once lost cannot be substituted
by a thousand new acquaintances.
You may call her name for lifes remainder, She wont answer.
Sundered love rarely mends.
The eyes are not worthy witnesses.
They make poor confidants.
The lovers heart must nurture hope and,
Deny berth to suspicion, reconciliations enemy.

She who is dear today is forever irreplaceable.
Neither hurt her faith.
Nor disappoint her love.
Her departure tomorrow will pain you for long
You could send forth a thousand olive branches hence,
But she wont return.
Love lost, is like wilderness.
The routine of the dawn and dusk is persistent.

The march of time never relents.
It does not yield.
One moment is enough for time to retain its lead.
One emotion not guarded can unsettle life.
One love not treasured disturbs destiny.
The days and nights, the dawn and dusk,
are mirrors of the transience of life
Once gone, they are no more.
In life, love and trust once lost, cannot be regained.
They are gone forever.
